Thank you Debbie Ohi! |
I'll admit to having done this.
And I agree, the cereal box is much more interesting.
How about you?
Do you always have to have something to read?
Happy Friday!

Shampoo bottles (work at a hair salon) can be interesting. I Google the ingredients. At home a mayonnaise jar does well in a pinch.

Shelly, haha, now that is desperate!
DeleteI usually watch something on TV or my computer instead.
ReplyDeleteAlex, but what if you're not at home?
DeleteNow that I have a smartphone, I never go without reading material. :) I don't like to read on it long because the screen is small, but I find I don't grumble as much waiting in line like I used to.
ReplyDeleteMaria, that is smart!
DeleteWaiting in line, especially at the grocery store gets me caught up on the 'hot topics and magazine gossip.' But I read constantly, when not writing. I seldom watch television with out a book, magazine, or newspaper in hand. Sitting in front of the tube just seems such a waste, especially when hubby has the remote -- he's always flipping and it drives me crazy -- just when I get interested, he changes it. UGH. But yes reading the box, the jar, or even the receipt is a habit!
ReplyDeleteYolanda, there is lots of stuff to read in the checkout line. Well, mostly celebrity stuff, but it's something.
DeleteYes, I've definitely done that . . .and I always have to have something to read around me, even if I get distracted by it.
ReplyDeleteAm I supposed to believe that there's a time when one is not supposed to be reading? How boring it must be.
