HA! I love that! I just did this to my mom. LOL I sent a piece I'm working on (it's not even finished) to her kindle for her to read and went through the whole list of...I wrote it at the hospital with dad...I haven't proofed it yet...I don't even know if I like it...blah, blah, blah...but tell me what you think. She just looked at me. Thanks for the laugh.Happy Friday to you--have a great weekend!Michelle :)
I do it all the time - makes excuses as to why it's not as good as it could be:)
Yes, that's me. Lol Have a good weekend!
Michelle, that's us!
Too funny! And yes...I'm quite aware of this.
Shelly, I think we all are:)
Funny! Hope I haven't done that to anyone other than my wife.
Alex, I don't usually ask my hubby to read what I've written:)
*laughs* sounds familiar.
Deborah, it sounds very familiar:)
Yes, guilty as depicted!
Johanna, yep - I'm guilty as well:)
Prerna - I thought so. Hey, is Michelle Pickett your mom?
Oh, mercy, please don't hand me a story that hasn't been through a basic proofreading... I have a condition. Typo Intolerance. If I ingest too many errors while reading, my eyes start twitching and that's all they'll see. Don't make me miss your tale's lovely forest for the misspelled, punctuation-impaired trees! It's fair to no one!
Deshipley, I agree, it ought to at least have a basic proofread. Even so - I'm sure I can come up with all sorts of excuses why it isn't as good as it could be:)
I do try, but sometimes pressure rises and time doesn't allow. Guilty!
C.M., pressure does get in the way and then I submit something and find a freaking typo or missing word, LOL!
Egads! Whoever came up with that must have hijacked into a conversation of mine lol!!! That is me, sadly, though reading it makes me laugh even louder.
Yay! You left a comment! I love comments.
